walking dead final season 11

Negan is a fictional character from The Walking Dead comic book series. He is the leader of a group of between 350 to 400 survivors in Georgia called The Saviors, who subjugate other communities in the area, demanding unfair amounts of food and supplies from them in exchange for their protection against the walkers and themselves.

Little is known of his past. He was married to a woman named Lucille whom he loved dearly. Although he was unfaithful to her, when he learned of her illness, he ended his relationship with his mistress to care for her. After her tragic death, Negan was devastated and filled with guilt. In her memory, he named a baseball bat after her[citation needed].

Negan and his Saviors came into conflict with Rick’s group (Abraham and Glenn die in the process), as the latter refused to comply with Negan’s treaty conditions, plus he influenced against their interests in communities such as Hilltop (subject to the Saviors) or the Kingdom (not subject to the Saviors). He finally got Rick’s surrender after ambushing him on his way to Hilltop in which he brutally murdered his best friend, Glenn, by smashing his skull to pieces with Lucille.[7] He was also the first to be killed by the Saviors.[8] He was also the first to be killed by Rick.

Due to the hiatuses, this tenth season can be divided into four blocks. The first, up to episode eight, which is a bluf with room for improvement and sounds, lowly, the drums of war. Plots that come and go coupled with the already registered Boring Moments™ pure Walking Dead.

Of course that stuffing itself to the top with blood has been a trademark since the first season, but taking one of the best scenes from ‘Zombie’s party’ (‘Shaun of the Dead’) seriously is another matter. And very violent.

Because throughout this season we’ve seen the Whisperers on the inside and how Alpha (Samantha Morton) was trying to be a ruthless boss, but, deep down, also a woman hurting from letting her daughter go. She had the support of Beta (Ryan Hurst)… until Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) came along and ruined everything. In the end, she got carried away by the trickster with the bat and, you know, the bad guys here only last a little longer than some of the good guys.

Without Alpha, it was only a matter of time before this group and Beta ended up dead, or disbanded, and that’s what we got to enjoy in the second and third blocks of this season, in a very satisfying way, on the other hand.
